Does the University have TurnItIn or a similar plagiarism detection software?

Yes, Niagara University uses TurnItIn. TurnItIn can scan students' writing to check for similarity to other written sources, verify authorship, and scan for instances of A.I.-generated writing. Students also have the ability to scan their own work prior to submitting their papers for a grade. TurnItIn is integrated with our Canvas LMS.
