There are 2 ways to renew a library item:

1. Visit or call the library (716-286-8020) during staffed hours. Just provide your full name and the item you want to renew, and we will renew it for you.

2. Renew online:

  • Start at the library website: https://library.niagara.edu
  • Click on Books & DVDs
  • On the catalog page, click Login at the top right.
  • For "Patron ID," enter your 14-digit barcode number on the back of your ID card.
  • The PIN is a 4-digit number that you create, the first time you borrow something from NU Library. If you've forgotten your PIN, click the Forgot Your PIN? link to reset it.
  • After logging in, you should see your name at the top right. Click your name and then click on Current Loans.
  • You'll see a list of what items are checked out to you, and their due date.
  • To renew an item, click the 3 dots next to the item, and click Renew Loan.
  • The word "Renewed" will appear on the screen, and a new due date will be displayed.
